Join Our Sunday Ladder and Grow Through Match Experience
This Community story highlights how Sunday Ladder helps children grow through friendly competition, while the April 12 event became even more memorable with a birthday celebration for Coach Frankie.
Our club’s Sunday Ladder is a great first step for children to gain match experience and build mental confidence. It gives young players the opportunity to bring what they learn in training into real competition. Compared with larger formal tournaments, Sunday Ladder offers a more relaxed and friendly environment, helping children gradually adjust to match play, handle pressure, and become more confident on court.
Through each match, kids do more than practice their skills. They also develop focus, resilience, and game awareness. Every time they step onto the court, score a point, or push through a challenge, they are growing. For many children, Ladder is not just about competition, it is an important part of building confidence and enjoying the game even more.
The Sunday Ladder on April 12 was extra special. Along with the excitement of match day, it also happened to be Coach Frankie’s birthday. All of the kids participating in the Ladder joined in to celebrate and share their birthday wishes with Coach Frankie, making the day even warmer and more memorable.
The children competed with energy on court and celebrated together off court, creating a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere throughout the club. It was more than just an internal competition, it became a meaningful shared memory for everyone involved. Moments like this reflect one of the most special parts of our club, not only training and competition, but also encouragement, connection, and the joy of growing together.
